As a young girl my Mother grew Job's Tear Plants.
She used the seeds that they grow to make necklaces & bracelets.
Job's Tear Plants are annuals so you must save some seed to plant the next year.
Below are some sites about Job's Tears.
You might consider planting some for a craft project for your residents.
Happy Crafting ! Mary

Local Harvest
The cheapest place I have found to order seed.

They are out of stock as of April/08 but if you leave your e-mail address ,
they will notify you when back in stock. Also your might try a Nursery.
I found one 50 miles away that sells the plant. It was worth the drive.
