Contact Activity Directors In Your Area for a Swap Activities Party. Each Director Must Write Out Instructions For One Of Their more Popular Activites. Make Coppies According To How Ever Many Participate. Have A Swap Activities Meet At You Facility. If This Is Not Possible They Could All Mail Or Fax You The Ideas & You Could Make Sure All The Activity Directors Get Them. Present New Ideas At Resident Council And Let Your Residents Decide Which They Would Like Added To The Calendar.

This is a great day to start your residents making what I call a "Making Memories Book" Our Making Memories Books have only good memories & thoughts in them A Legacy to leave for children and grandchildren It also helps positive thinking to flow & happiness We also have a "Throw Away Thoughts Journal" This is the memory book where all negative thoughts are placed, discussed,and hopefully resolved then "Thrown Away" It's a great activity for behavior groups.
