Share The Memories

Special Recognition, Military Service, Battles, Ribbons, Medals and Awards Received.
Life overview, community involvement and organizations, special interest.
Favorite things, people, colors, sayings, songs, places, t v shows, movies and games. Special honors.
Special events in their life. Graduations, weddings, career honors, birth of children and/or grandchildren.
Hobbies and interests. Sports, clubs, churches, associations or organizations.
How this person touched your life and the lives of family and friends.
Favorite poems and poetry. Scriptures or other inspirational writings.
Life stories of courage and strength or endearing habits.
List Family Traditions that were enjoyed in life.
Extraordinary Events that were survived. Floods, storms, accidents, illness.
Places lived and traveled. Special Friends and pets in their life.
You may want to allow other family members and friends to help by contributing words of remembrance, favorite memories of time spent together or suggesting other ideas.


Honoring & Remembering

Plant a memory garden in honor of your deceased residents, plant their favorite flower or trees.
Put a bench in your Memory Garden in honor of deceased residents with a plaque.
Make a memory book of photos.
Make a donation to a charity or religious institution in honor of your resident.
Put In Memory Of.... labels in your facility library books.
Inscribe a brick or pavement stone.(Use the stones or bricks to make a memory walk to your memory garden)
