During National Nursing Home Week, change your normal bingo cards for something extra
special. At NNHW you can find a“Legend BINGO”card that you can print for use in
your facility. And if you are feeling extra creative, you can use the template to create
your own special Bingo game with photos of your residents and staff. You can also visit

I worked at a facility where we had a ghost call bell.
It came on and did not shut off until the problem with a resident was found.
Then it went away as magically as as it came.
I don't believe in ghost but I think God had an angel watching over our residents.
So become a reporter and get busy & make a "Facility Legend Book"
Check your Local Library, churches & schools. Interview store owners, homeowners
everyone you can think of & along with your residents
write a "Community Legend Book."
to be known for and let them write their story adding fact with fiction.
After all that is what a legend is.
