Yes it's Mother's Day What better way to celebrate than gather all The Mother's in your facility and let them write a poem to their children. I did this once in a facility and the children loved it. The poem was a combination of 12 authors. Each of their children received the framed poem on Mother's Day. The Theme of our poem was "My Child I Love You". Try it you'll be surpised how easy it is to rhyme the ideas your residents give you. Just ask them why and what they love about their children and the poem will flow! Make sure to include the names of ALL the authors at the bottom.
